Does anyone have experience with Tramontina Aluminum Nonstick Restaurant Professional Fry Pans?

I have been researching non-stick pans and it seems there are few out there with good reviews. I am amazed at the amount of folks who have complaints about following instructions for the use and care only to find the pan failing. This happened to me with a set of Green Pans, which worked beautifully at the start and are now worthless to me. I cannot cook a decent egg as it immediately sticks to the pan. I followed all instructions, NO PAM type oil, use very little oil or butter on low to medium heat, Let cool prior to washing. I never put my pots or pans in the dishwasher so that was not an issue.

Want to buy two non-stick, so if you have had experience with above mentioned or another brand I would love to hear. Thank you!

I have a Tfal pan that is so non-stick I couldn't get peanut butter to stick in it!!

I DO cook fried eggs in it with NO butter or oil. This is this one

Full description--this pan is VERY light. I absolutely LOVE it for making a quick breakfast--I have the 8" one.

I have other "non-stick" pans that I use for frittatas, etc. that go in the oven after stovetop prep. They are non-stick to the point of easy to get out of pan/clean up. I would not cook an egg in them without grease.

As I assume you know from your comment about "following directions for correct use", these are not pans for searing, etc.

I have only used the Tramontina available at Costco in a three-pack. They may...

....or may not be what you are describing. Since they are around $27 for a three-pack, they are practically disposable. We have used them and gotten good value for our $27.

About a year ago I found an OXO Good Grips Non-Stick 8" pan at Tuesday Morning. It was thicker than Tramontina, and the non-stick worked really well. I checked with CI and sure enough, the OXO Non-Stick was their #1 choice.

I bought and now use two 8", two 10" and two 12" OXO pans and really like them! Not too expensive... around $39 on Amazon for the 12".

I am very pleased with the OXO product.
