I snagged one of these pans (see link for pix and no I didn't pay this much!) To bring a cake for a Halloween party was going to make the Jack 'O Lantern cake/recipe that comes with it for a pumpkin cake serving 14-16 (though I'm really-really tempted to sub Richard's Gingerbread cake but I'm worried about fit). I can post the recipe if someone wants as I didn't find it online but it's just a standard sounding pumpkin cake. MS does have a recipe almost like it on her site but with the addition of chocolate that you bake using 2 bundt pans.
I also have the newer silicon version of the pan which is a bit smaller (serves 12) and was thinking of doing both cakes and displaying on stagered height cake plates (one as a Jack the other plain) but some sort of different flavor of course. Don't know for sure yet.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips or feedback on either the pan or recipe?
