If I have lots or don't feel like chopping I use my VM; my sibling swears putting them in fridge for
no tears -- I've yet to try it though, but she might be right since she's a vegetarian, she chops them a lot.

For me it's just so quick to use a knife I wouldn't bother with anything else..

VM? Vita Mix? I used to keep my onions in the fridge and yes it works
Don't know why I stopped doing it. I really don't need anymore gadgets and I know the bloggers these days hook up with Amazon and make money from purchases we make. It takes no time for me to chop an onion an I could have it done by the time I get the gadget out and set up. Thanks for reminding me of that. smileys/wink.gif Plus I have a food processor!

I have one and it does work but it is terribly difficult to clean and so I don't really use it. My
main problem is chopping tomatoes for our Arab-Israeli salad so
if anyone has anything that will chop them and yet keep them from being a paste - share.
This gadget would probably work on onions and they would be easier to clean.
