Does anyone have this KA attachment kit for sausage and is it worth it?

I've used mine and I thought it was pretty simple, but mine came as a part of a large

kit of accessories which I think is a much better deal than stand alone. Mine has the graters & grinder & slicers with it also.

We have the sausage portion of that kit, used it both at home and at class for...

...making sausages. It works well! We use the tall white portion (food tray - click here) together with the wooden "push" thingy and two different size grinder plates and the grinder attachment. The part that isn't shown in your example is the sausage stuffer tube which makes it much easier to get the ground meat into the casings. It's at this link: click here.

We have the pour shield but haven't bothered with it.

I do. I haven't used it lately but I am seriously looking forward to making some

major poundage. as for worth it, it all depends. I can't get a lot of things here and really, really good Italian sausage is one of them. so for me, it's very worth it. sausage is easy to make and fun too.

Mar, in a sausage-making class with

Bruce Aidells a few years back he used the KA sausage attachment on one of the stations we were set up with although he did say it wasn't his favorite as it was often prone to breakdown as well as overheating the KA motor (which could result in the motor burning out). When I came home I opted for a Krups stand-alone sausage grinder/stuffer...he said he'd had good results with that one.
