Does anyone here haveThe Titan Peeler? It looks like a great gadget

I like that part. I have a mandoline but only haul it out when necessary. This seems

to help out with mini cuts.

 
Thanks Luisa, I didn't look that far. If I can get two for one and someone splits the

cost and they can ship separately, that would be good. I'll check into it.

By the way Luisa, I'm a little late in reading the posts but congratulations on your retirement!!

 
I still see H's fingertip sitting on the cutting board, fingernail and all, and so often I revert to

the little Zyliss mandoline. I find it so handy and it doesn't give me the creeps.

I'll bring out the big guy for a major job but it is now used only by moi.

 
Oh thanks! Sometimes Bed/Bath gets those TV offerings. So even if you don't get "2 for 1" at least

you don't pay S&H. Plus they often have 20% off coupons. I figure if I pay less than $15, I have a deal.

 
Great tip Luisa! I just called Bed Bath & Beyond and they have plenty in stock

for $14.99. I didn't think to check there. I also have a "Welcome to your new home" coupon for 20% off that's good until 8/14/09.

The peeler is supposed to deskin tomatoes. I'll buy one and if I don't like it, return it. It's only a 20 minute drive for me.

A new store just opened in our local mall called "As Seen On TV". Yep, that's what they sell!

 
I just bought this yesterday. It had TWO different peelers packed together, but no

mandoline board. I was disappointed in that. I got the peeler for $14.99 w/ additional 20% off at the cookware store in our local outlet mall. I haven't opened the package yet in hopes of finding the one packaged w/ the mandoline board.
