Does anyone know where to buy candy packaging, inexpensively? >>

Many of you know I have been a candy maker nearly all my adult life. I'm known in our area for this but haven't made much the last 3 yrs.

I've been asked to do a candy presentation at a Ladies Night Out event in November. Ladies will tastes, buy and order candy at this event.

I sold candy in the past but have used all my packaging. I'm going to be checking out eBay. It's too expensive to buy from most wholesale places because of the amounts you have to buy.

Just thought I'd ask here. Someone might have an inside to such things. Fudge boxes and all sorts of pkging considered.

TIA!!

Sorry...to your question, I buy all of my candy stuff at a candy/wedding store.

Candy wrappers are all priced in batches of 50 or 75, so probably more expensive than you're looking for. Boxes are priced per box and are pretty darn expensive.

Thanks, (((((Marilyn))))), it's great to be here!

Yeah, it'd be ok if I were using for gifts, but since I'll be selling them I need to keep my prices down all I can. With the prices of quality ingredients up so much I'm not so sure it'll be profitable.

Chocolate and sugar prices have risen so much - yikes! Not to mention butter and nuts! Yikes

I've found 1 and 2 lb fudge boxes on eBay for about .50 a box or less. Not bad. I have some bids in for Buy it Now auctions. I'll hit or local Deals, Dollar Tree and Big Lots store soon. Sometimes you can get great buys there.

Don't ask me why I told this lady I'd do this! I guess I miss it! LOL Call me crazy, I guess.

Are you making a gingerbread house this year? smileys/smile.gif

Sure have missed you guys!!!!! ((((((HUGS)))))))

Uline is great! I've ordered from them before but I don't need 500 boxes! hehe

I need half pound and pound boxes. I'm searching on eBay. Have awhile so can take my time. If I were to get in this big time I'd order them in a heartbeat. Great prices.

I've ordered several 3x3" boxes for individual fudges at .17 a box including postage. I'm doing a ladies night out and will take a bunch there and take orders on the half lb and lb's for Christmas. It's in Nov.

Thanks a lot everyone! Great links you've shared!!
