Does anyone remember the brand name of the Tom Yum thai soup base sold

at World Markets?

It was several years ago, but I bought half a dozen and haven't needed more. I went back this weekend and they have nothing similar.

The package was flat cardboard containing an envelope of paste.

For some reason, I recall "Blue" in the title and thought it was "Blue Elephant" but can't find anything online with that name so I'm guessing that's wrong.

They carried several Thai products, but this soup was PERFECT for quick dinners by adding fresh shrimp, buckwheat soba noodles, coconut milk, a little cilantro & fresh lime.

No, but I can have a look for you today when I head to World Markets.

Maybe our store will carry the product. I can pick some up for you if you like. Will send you an email to see how many you might like.

No Karen, paste was in a flat envelope in a flat cardboard container.

Only enough for one large pot...I usually squeezed two small servings out of it.

The spicy seasoning was perfect.

huh...I didn't think of that. I just looked for the flat package and the blue...whatever it was.

Drat. And that's 30 miles away in the other direction after I drive 60 miles home. Oh well, at least I'll know enough to look at the jars next time.
