Does anyone remember the Lime Freeze from the 50's. I googled but wasn't successful to find a rcp.

I'd forgotten about this wonderful flavor until one day at the Disney Village we went into a candy store and I decided to a bag of lime candies. Don't you know that was the only jar in the whole store that wouldn't work. But ONE candy fell out and that's what brought back the memory of the lime freeze.

I'd love to recreate it, have a clue how?

Marsha, is the following recipe what you are looking for? Some

other recipes I found called lemon freeze were more like pie.

LIME FREEZE

1 (7 OZ. BOTTLE CLUB SODA)
1 CUP CRUSHED OR CRACKED ICE
1/2 PINT (1 CUP) LIME SHERBET
1 can (6 0Z.)FROZEN LIMEADE CONCENTRATE

Place soda, ice, sherbet and limeade in blender.
Blend at high speed until mixture is slushy. Stop machine 2 or 3 times to push mixture down. Pour mixture into frosted tumblers.

Makes about 4 cups.
