Does Briami work in a slowcooker?

I have zucchini and tomatoes in a side garden for the first time. Briami sounds so good but I don't want to turn on the oven!

Do you have a grill? We have a gas grill and I have been doing almost

everything that needs to go in the oven on the grill. Works great!

I don't use a slowcooker, but getting "crunchies" from this dish is a major joy for me.

Not sure if that would/could happen with a slow cooker? Seems like it would steam instead.

I have made a smaller version successfully in a toaster oven.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm going to give it a try this weekend and

will post what I find out. Of course I have nothing to compare it to, since I've never made it in the oven.

Please post after you try this, It does sound like crunchiness is meant

to be part of this dish.
