Problem found, the search doesn't like apostrophes.

If you search for anything with an apostrophe or other weird character like:

Slice 'n' Bake
Gretchen's Pulled Pork
Marsha t/bay

it will find no results. This is a bug in the program and not related to the server outage. I've just notified the developer so maybe he'll fix it for the next update of the forum software.

For anyone who cares to try to remember this, the workaround is to put a backslash (this thing: ) just before every weird character. So if you want to search for Gretchen's Pulled Pork, type:

gretchen's pulled pork
or
Slice 'n' Bake

and it will come up. In a perfect world, no user should have to do that or have to remember it but until we get it fixed, that's the hack for you. ;o)
