This is a typical meal for the dogs and I just had to share. From the top: Goulash: hamburger w/ squash, oatmeal, peas. Steamed carrots and green beans. Fruit salad: apples, blueberries, cranberry ice.

Mind you, it's usually all mushed together....

You mean to tell me that your Great Danes are satisfied with that?

How many times a day do you need to cook that up for them???
And how are you, Howie and SS doing?
Long time, no communicate.

Anyone retired yet? If not, why not?

They get fed twice a day

And I cook up a batch about 2x a week. Thanks to everyone's help here, they are eating like Greatest Danes should smileys/smile.gif

DH went on terminal leave one day and started civilian life the next. He says it's not so bad, tho, since now he can say "I quit" and no one will shoot him for it! And SS starts his senior year next month. Gads, I started over at Gails when he was in KINDERGARTEN!!! Now you can feel old with me!!!

And why aren't you retired? Still supporting those traveling and baking habits?

 
Karen we do the following supplements

Omega 3 oils, flax seed and a brewers yeast/vitamin b powder sprinkled on their food. Oh, and dinner is followed by joint supplements. Inside joke around here is when we holler out "Hey, b****es, you ready for a joint or two?" They sure come running, you'd think it was for more than a couple of chewy pills.

As for feeling old, Ella (my granddaughter) just turned 5 and will be starting kindergarten in September.

I don't bake as much, since we'd only eat it, but I try out promising recipes when I can foist off the remainders on family or co-workers.
I made the CI Thick & Chewy Double Chocolate cookies posted here and took them as "bait" to the folk festival. They were all eaten, and some of the consumers also bought pottery.

I guess that makes them a T&T success.
