Doing the happy dance....

That is so great Sally! How fun to see your recipe picked up by such a well know source.

Do they have to request permission to publish your photo and recipe?

I've seen a couple of my photos from Linda's site, plus the recipes, on other food websites and while they gave me credit, no one has ever contacted me, so I have wondered how that all worked.

I couldn't tell which one was your's, Sally, but there was only one recipe I was interested in...

the Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry so I clicked on it. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised.

No, they never contacted me...

I guess that as long as they give you full credit, you have no legal reason to complain, what is in the net is in the net. Of course, if they had sucked my photo and my text and published as if theirs, it would be a totally different story

THis happened to me twice, but of course not with an established site as chow.com - years ago it was a blogger from Europe, used my photo, my recipe, no mention of my site - someone saw, recognized the photo (!!!!) and sent me a message. I contacted the person and she removed it.

the other time was something similar, but I happened to catch it myself.

Was anyone able to copy the roasted beef brisket with sticky sweet glaze?

All I get is an error message when I click on the link. Making your beef & broccoli for dinner tomorrow night Sally!!

anyone else notice web articles pulling lots of old data lately? there was a best restaurant in

every state posted this week, or last week, and they had Jens listed for Alaska with praises to the chef/owner Jens----but he died several years ago. His wife still has it and it's still good, but that was odd to read. for the state, I would have chosen the Double Musky

It looks like her site was taken down. Strange. This article came out less than a week ago.

I wonder if it was revived from an old article with some new content. I hate when they do that.

Sally's recipe was from 2012. you would think someone would proof the article to make sure links

worked.
