Dumb question: can I consolidate vanilla beans to one jar or would opening compromise freshness?

I found some on sale so bought a few jars. All have only one in them. These take up a bunch of space I'd like to have back, but if I break the seal and put them all into one jar...is that a bad thing for the freshness/quality factor?

They should be fine if you wrap them in plastic wrap, then put them in the jar.
