Slice tomatoes about 1/4 inch thick and top with olive oil, a pinch of garlic (I used garlic powder), oregano and/or salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle with your favorite cheese, and broil for about 4 minutes, or until cheese just starts to turn golden. Great on slices of French bread!
