Those of you who know me really well know that "the boys" (or in the current Great Lakes 'northern cities vowel shift sweeping over the country: "da' boys") refer to my two furry partners in crime, the Katzenjammer Knaben themselves, my two wire-haired dachshunds.
Well the cookie jar was empty after we came in tonight (which is a beautiful 1936 green princess depression glass cookie jar) and I broke out a new box of puppy cookies that I bought at Trader Joe's.
The boys are munching away on their pumpkin cookies, with much relish.
I turn the box over: pumpkin flavored dog treats.
Turn. Side panel: Ingredients: Wheat flour, pumpkin, molasses, canola oil, cinnamon, vitamen E.
Hmmm.
Look at da' boys, look at da' box.
Crunch.
These things are amazing!!!
Then I turned the box over to the next panel...
"...the ingredients are so pure and tasty that you could even sneak one yourself if you must...but why make your dog jealous."
Well, da' boys don't get jealous as long as I share.
Really, you should try these things!!! They would make great tea dunkers!
