Amazon is refunding money on eclipse glasses I bought because the manufacturer has not confirmed they are safe to the extent needed. Check your glasses against the list of approved manufacturers--just because the ISO ____ is on them does not mean they conform.

Also you should not look at the sun without protection even if only a sliver is showing--it will cause the same damage as if it weree the full sun showing. And "peeks" add up also.

 
There are a few on Amazon but pricey now. Have you checked the libraries and

eye wear places in your area? An optometrist was giving them away here --ran out Friday. WalMart/Lowe's?
