eggs are cheap; can they be frozen or otherwise saved?

Eggs are 2 dozen for $0.75 today, and they nay be even lower in the next few days. IS there a good way to save them--maybe one per ice cube slot and then frozen? I dread the return to $2/dozen, but thanks to ethanol I know it is coming. Thanks in advance.

My shopping trip yesterday, bread $3.39 for a loaf, hard rolls 'on sale' for $3.39 for 8, milk is

$4.00 a gallon and buttermilk almost that for a half gallon, I'd spent $20 before I got past the bakery and dairy case. I saw a news report that cereal prices are skyrocketing, also. Breakfast is no longer an inexpensive meal! My condolences to anyone feeding kids with these prices. What I bought would last very long.

the cost of wheat has doubled in the last 2 months. Our local Great Harvest was on the news with

an interesting interview that said wheat prices had stayed quite steady for years and years and in the last year, the price has skyrocketed.

Marg, I need some help here. Marilyn has thousands of posts, and

the search doesn't really filter out the article tou mentioned. IS there a posting number for Marilyn's post? Thanks.

Thanks, Ang. You are so right; this is very helpful. Tthe bargain price won't last long,

but I can put several dozens in the freeser for use in baking, etc. months from now.

Sorry Mark. I had posted the link in the body as I wasn't sure it would work as well as a link.

and I thought you were running off to the store in a hurry.
