Elaine, I made the strawberry bread you posted. It came out of the oven and I tried to turn it out

Cheezz, even when not called for I have the best luck with sweet quick breads with

heavy coating of solid shortening (crisco) and sometimes flour too. Sometimes it is just your pan. I bought a lovely heavy tube pan (non-stick too) from King Arthur. Every d*#n thing I baked in it stuck in multiple places. Every cake I tried to turn out of it fell apart. Grrrrrrr......I didn't send it back because right after one such disaster I sent King Arthur a rather, ahem, heated, email about it. They didn't even reply since I was ugly so I just dropped it.

 
I got my flexible spatula down in there and got the second one out intact!

Very good flavor and texture - I'd cut the strawberries in smaller pieces next time though. Love the walnuts in it (I toasted them for more flavor)
