Epicurious has fixed Gail's and made the archives available. Link inside.

It finally went to the archives... but you'd have to know what number

you're looking for as the search doesn't work... makes it about useless smileys/frown.gif

Oh, I finally get this! Carol_in_Iowa had originally provided this site...

but her linked showed 2004 threads...and I mistakenly thought it STARTED there with the upgrade to Gail's.

However, this link does have everything.

Does anyone know if it is maintained by epicurious...or this web organization?

Pat in NoCA noticed that you can't search this....so the archives are there (yeah) but hard

to find a specific food/person/word (boo).

If anyone figures this out, could you please explain how? Thanks!

I was able to find another way into kitchen seek, but a search takes me

back to their current site. I'm hoping since they've kept it and updated the page to match the new look, they will give it back. I really doubt it though, because it was a way to circumvent their site and they probably don't want that.

I used to have a book mark for the old GRS from this site which would..

get you to the original posts via a search but wouldn't pull up responses to an original numbered post--it took you back to their current site. Unfortunately we just had to reimage our computer adn I don't know where to find that link in finerkitchens.com Surely it can be found and tested!

I can't get it to open up either. I get the same thing that you got. Did you>>>

change anything to let it open up? I even turned off the pop-up blocker but I still can't get it to open.

When I try to open posts, I get the "mad city mike" page on EPI. Can you open post number 1

about Cobb Salad to read the actual post? I keep getting booted to the EPI page instead of into the post. It's hit or miss. I can open a few posts, but most I have tried I get booted over to EPI.

When you are on the Archive page, just above numbers,it says click here want to make a new posting

then the cookie swap, veggie swap, etc. are all listed there. you can open them but you can't open any of the messages. Wonder if they'll be working on that one too. Bet not, unless someone specifically asks
