We were out having breakfast this morning and an entire table of adults were trying (unsuccessfully) to get a 18-month to stop screaming and eat her Mickey Mouse pancake. My parents were very good about spiriting me and my brother out of restaurants at the first hint of unrest; my dad likes to recount the many times he and I ended up having a sandwich on a bench outside some restaurant while my grandparents and my mother finished their shrimp...inside...pleasantly. smileys/wink.gif

And Jakub and I have spent at least one brunch completely aghast at the way friends let their tot run around. We vowed never to be Those Parents.
