Did someone say Sahlab!
That stuff is addictive!!! I was like Pavlov's dog when the sahlab street vendors in Istanbul would pass with their mezmerizing chant of "Sahlab". I had to get my fix every night when they came out onto the streets. Thankfully, there is a middle eastern shop in Findlay Market that sells an imported mix. Not that I get to drink it that often, but for special occasions, it's there. Makes a great holidays drink.
