Thanks for posting it for me. I have to say, though, instead of adding it to giner ale, I simmered about 1/2-inch of ginger in the water with the sugar.
I'll have to float some pineapple sherbet in the glass next time! I just garnished it with some fresh mint and a lemon slice. Pretty too!
