Espresso Brownie Cake - Just saw this - it sounds great - thought I'd post the link.

Yeah, it's 3 Tbsp espresso for the cake and 1 Tbsp for the icing.

Sunset Magazine seems to have a pattern of being way off on its sugar measurements. The Double Layer Chocolate Cake I did last week was also much too low in sugar, and probably should have been 2 1/2 cups instead of the listed 1 1/2 cups. I increased it to taste, (2 1/4 cups) and it came out nice and dark. I notified them about this, but they haven't done anything about it.
