Eureka!!! No, honestly, that's the name of the restaurant....GOOD GRUB!

Eureka! Tasting Kitchen is a new restaurant at the Hawthorne Airport in So. California. I had the Fresno Fig Burger -- yum, yum, yum! All their meat is grass fed/natural/no antibiotics/hormone free, etc. etc. The burger had goat cheese, fig jam, arugula, bacon....LOVE! My first experience with fig jam and now my mind is reeling smileys/smile.gif

 
Friends use mine over cheese or as a glaze on lamb, chicken and pork.

And a local cheese shop makes a kick-ass panini with fig jam, duck confit, semi-soft cheese and caramelized onions.

 
What about topping a wheel of brie and then baking in puff pastry?

I love the contrast of sweet with the brie. It seems like I had an appetizer once that topped Gorgonzola with fig jam and walnuts. Yum!
