EvaN, I just got finished watching a cooking show on Scandinavian

Well-known member
cuisine ("Perfect Day" with Tina Nordström), and your country is beautiful! The host cooks everything outdoors, all bundled up - usually in the snow, but sometimes on the beach! Glaciers in the background, she always makes some kind of fish, usually uses cardamom, and often makes soup. Just wanted to say it's one of my new favorite cooking shows!

There is also "New Scandinavian Cooking with Andreas Viestad", but I like the first one better )

I like her cooking a lot too. She's from Sweden, and Andreas Viestad

is Norwegian. I have watched both of the shows but like you, I like Tina and her cooking better. She seems more confident and I think her cooking is a little more refined, kwim?

And yes, the cardamom and soup is a thing we have in common *LOL*

The scenery here is beautiful. I was thinking we should definitely have a GTG here some day smileys/wink.gif

Kwim and GTG - I've got it now - know what I mean and get-together! I'm surprised I

picked that up so quickly, IUTMAW*!

*(It usually takes me a while!) - lol

Like 'wwyd' - it took me days to figure that one out

but then it hit me: It stands for 'what would you do'? *LOL*

I still vote for a GTG tho...! smileys/smile.gif

Eva--have you seen the third part of the trilogy?--I forgot her name--she the one that was from Fl..

I think her name is Sara La Fountain. I have missed her shows

but I'd love to see how she is. Are her shows and recipes any good?

I've only caught one show and it was very good--and very cute--gotta make it to Scandinavia some day

Oh yes, we all look like Sara and Tina over here. *LOL* (Not so, unfortunately)

Can you imagine looking that good, AND to know how to cook? smileys/smile.gif
