...day and threaded them on a skewer for grilling.

While they were on the fire I basted them with a mixture of melted sweet butter, fresh coarse ground black pepper and fresh lemon juice.

They were very good at dinner, but I just microwaved the leftovers and finished them off.

My goodness, were those little spinach legs good!

Never thought of the skewer- great idea. I even like them cold! By the way, Michael,

you mentioned how much you like the feta at TJ's. Picked some up the last time I was there and I can't believe how much better it is than the one I buy at the co-op. Now all I need is a TJ's closer than 4 hours away!

spread some good mayo on some nice white sandwich bread, add your left over asparagus, cover, cut

off the crusts, cut into squares and eat them all! Or serve them with home made soup for lunch, if your nice smileys/smile.gif

 
Love stupidly simple, love grilled asparagus..here's last nights 'stupidly simple'

Chopped up a head of cabbage (long shreds)sauted in 2T butter coarse salt and pepper. Some of the cabbage browns and something so 'stupidly simple' was just so simply good. bf asked why there wasn't more!
Last night I used a savoy cabbage, but it could be your everyday garden variety green as well.

 
NFRC: Do you do pilates, Suz? I've always wanted to try it... is

it good for just toning, or do you get an aerobic workout from it too? I know NOTHING about it, other than they have classes at the local Y!

It's not aerobic. It's a gentle, safe progressive way to exercise. All about your core. It is said in 10 sessions feel the difference, in 20 see the difference and in 30 be the difference!quote from Joseph Pilates.
