I already have an itinerary for our next trip to cover all the things we missed.

Again, thanks for all the recommendations.

Almost...until you get to the tasting parts...Tequila& lemon chocolate?

Oh, and thanks for the French lesson...Rein de Veau is something I'll remember...forever. Ed too I imagine!

A great read, Michael. Dad will be proud to know "Jimminy Christmas" has entered the blogosphere.

great job michael. look at post 11075 for Ina Garten's cupcakes with candied violet topping.

Very nice read, Michael! I know it takes a lot of time to make the entries,

but it is so much fun for the rest of us to share, and it makes a fabulous trip diary.

It makes me long for a return trip - I've only been once, and I was 7 months pregnant, so no champagne for me. smileys/frown.gif

Did you have the pleasure of visiting one of the loos while at Père-Lachaise Cemetery? One experience I will never forget!

~whispers~ We went to McD's while in Paris, too. We wanted to see if it was true that a Big Mac was called Royale with Cheese...

This was a lot of fun to read. What a keepsake for you. Can't believe you left Deheillerin with

nothing though. I always take fold-down boxes and a roll of packing tape with me when I travel. This last time I came back with a file box full of cheeses and pizza dough and a suitcase full of cookware. You have far more control than I have. ( and another suitcase full no... FULL of wine)

No, we missed that pleasure. ~whispers~ Ed thought it was something exotic till he bit into it. lol

Ma Bourgogne is a great favorite of our also....

....in fact, the ham hock with lima beans is my usual order! We have lunch there every time we are in Paris--just love being out under the arcade! Thanks for sharing your trip.
