Finally starting to explore the new work "hood" on the way home

Stopped tonight in Indo-Pak supermarket, which also has a little cafe on the side. Fun, fun grocery. Need to stop when I have about 1 1/2 hours to really do it justice. Brought home take-out biryiani, chicken korma and two pakoras for about $10. My nose is still running...

Also bought a huge 3. Lb jar of kalamatas for $11 and halvah & tandoori paste.

Next stop, the Chinese shopping center...or maybe the Korean strip.

 
Sounds like fun! I've always enjoyed shopping at ethnic markets - especially those in Philly.

Great buys and very interesting products to explore.
