Food magazine recycle?

Ok, some of the clutter must go -- the stack of old food magazines. The library doesn't want them, folks in assist living places don't have kitchens, any other ideas before I toss them into the recyle bin?

Take them to your hair stylist's shop, manicure gal, what ever in that type of service

they will soon disappear. Hospitals love them, take them to the volunteer's desk in the hospital entry. I sold all mine at a garage sale, they were all gone by noon.

Take 'em to Kaiser. I know from my own doctor visits that they'll take anything, Your donations

may be the most current in the waiting room.

Believe me, it will be appreciated.

Or a spot that provides home healthcare. They can bring mags to otherwise immobile patients.

www.freecycle.org is another good resource. You'll need to

register for your area, then once you post your item(s) you'll receive a ton of interest.
