for Cathy Z or whoever else has an idea: What do you serve with your Mom's great

This is such a favorite at my house- and here is what I usually serve with it

If I am roasting potatoes with the pork roast/sauerkraut I don't add other starch. I serve pickled beets and onions on the side and finish with some cut up fruit. I have been known to skip putting potatoes in with the roast and later cooking and mashing potatoes (with butter, onions and sour cream) to serve with it.

Green beans, asparagus or brussel sprouts would go nicely if you want sides.

What CathyZ said, also

I like to serve my mom's coleslaw, fresh cabbage that I cut into thin shreds, and dressing consists of Best Foods Mayo, apple cider vinegar, a little sugar and my tweak, Tabasco Sauce. I like to make sandwiches the next day and serve on Mexican Bolillo Rolls and put the coleslaw in the sandwich. Yum!

Cathy, I found your recipe in favorites. Will you please tell me which type of port cut

you use for this? Thanks

thanks all. I will mash the potatoes and also serve some pickled beets.

Happy Holidays to you all. I contribute very little but appreciate what others do a lot.
