not smoked, but there's natural smoke flavor added. It's McCormick Smokehouse Ground Black Pepper. It's very good, not expensive, and comes in a 2 oz container.

Next I'm going to try smoked peppercorns - I found a site that sells both ground and whole for a very reasonable price - I'm going to order the whole one of these days. But for now, I'll be using the McCormick, both for cooking and at the table. I really like it.

Thank you Merly~ I was at TJ's today and looked for it~ food shopping tomorrow~ will look for this

Did not find it in Trader Joe's, so I'm sure Fry's may have it... but surprisingly, we have a Target Super Center near by and I find most hard to find spices there so.. If I don't find it at Fry's I am going to go over to Target~ and thanks to you, Meryl, at least I know what I'll be looking for smileys/smile.gif
