For those of you who have made tassies...should I cook apple pie filling first?....

I'm going to try my hand at tassies to bring to TG. Do you think I should bake the crust and cook the filling separate or together?

 
Apple pie filling? I only know the original pecan filling version

Can you post the recipe and maybe we can tell from that-

 
I did mini pies last year or before with cooked filling and pre-baked the crusts. I would

definitely do that for tassies so the filling is cooked thoroughly. I dislike undercooked apple pie filling.
