Forkish's Sourdough Bacon Bread

after many many weeks without baking any sourdough, I finally made a loaf today, to share with stepson and friends who will be arriving later this week.

It will go straight to the freezer, so I won't know how it tastes until then, but it smells amazing!









 
Yes, it did...

not too strong a smell, but definitely there

I used slightly less bacon than called for because I did not want the crumb too loaded with bacon bits

I will let you know once we try it, probably Friday eve
