worth trying, or will it end up in my stash of never-used items in the pantry? Can't imagine using it for anything but sauteing vegetables.

Has anyone ever tried it?

It's used as salad dressing in Austria--fantastic stuff. Very healthy! smileys/smile.gif

It's also good drizzled over roasted things--squash, etc.

What Erin said. I've never heard of anyone using if for sauteeing...

Drizzle it as a garnish on soups, salad, cold roast beef, etc.

It is my understanding that pumpkin seed oil should only be used at room temperature

heating causes it to loose all the health benefits.

Thanks you guys! I guess it's like good evoo, never heat it. Going back to buy it,

if it's still there... it was only $2.50 for 16 oz. of it. 'Love that "overrun" store.
