FRC: Anyone been to a Fresh & Easy store? They are opening in the Bay Area

We have them here. They are owned by a British company, I believe.

They are little neighborhood food stores. They are a little bit like Trader Joe's but they carry national brands as well. Their prices are pretty good -usually a little less than grocery stores (or equal to the grocery store price) and definitely cheaper than a convenience store.

Fresh meat. Frozen foods. Produce and fruit. Packaged goods. Like a little grocery store.

Ours don't take checks, and you scan and bag your own groceries.
