FRC: Food Photography?...

Looking at Tartelette's blog again reminded me of what nice photos she takes and rekindled my interest in photography - specifically in the area of food. (I wonder if she is using a macro lense?)

I don't want to get too off topic here but wanted to see if others here have experimented with taking photos (close-up) of their food. Of course none of my old camara stuff, aka lenses, adapts to digital so I'm going to need to start over with a decent camara. I'd be interested in any recommendations or links you might want to share.

She's got quite a set up...lights, staging, backdrops, props, lenses (multiple macros...)
