FRC Hadn't realized All-Clad discontinued their Cop-R-Chef line. I wonder why?

Couldn't find much of anything about it online. Also, though suspect it's likely better suited, one of the reasons I fell for the Copper Core line was the copper lids to match the core. Loved the look and a copper lid seemed pretty easy to take care of. Now I see that's gone too. I'm likely way behind the times because I haven't looked at cookware in a long time, but now I don't love you anymore Copper Core. My wish list and I are breaking up with you.

 
I haven't had a first cup of coffee yet, but all I could picture was a police officer frying eggs...
