FRC I received a reply from the Consumer Affairs dept. at Wegmans about freezing cooked meat

Here is what she (basically, "we didn't say that"):

Thank you for your e-mail inquiry. I'm unsure what the text of the program was that you were watching, but we have never been informed that you can not freeze cooked leftover foods. It is probably the best way to keep food from spoiling and not having to throw it away. There are many different make ahead meals that are meant to be frozen and then just thawed and warmed.

I'm sorry I don't know what she was talking about and I was unable to locate the show on their website. It is our belief that you will be safe freezing leftover food even if it has been cooked.

If I can be of additional assistance, please let me know.

 
so odd that their consumer affairs department doesn't know what programs the company is televising

or the least she could do would be to look something like that up, in another department perhaps. couldn't be that hard to find.
