FRC: THis article is unreal- got the link from another site and thought some of you

"cold-blooded, a$$-covering deception at a blue-blood reception"

was my favorite line. And we won't mention the proofing buns....Fun read!

I have a good friend who graduated from Cordon Bleu in Paris and worked at one of the top restaurants in Chicago. These stories are tame. Believe me.

I have a friend who is a top chef over here and the stories he has told me

are unbeliveable!
Sometimes I think he makes some of them up - or maybe that is what I tell myself as I love eating out! smileys/smile.gif

Ahhh, reminds me of my college days working at the Mexican Fast Food Restaurant. . .

I never saw anything much done except to put too much grease into someones eggs or too many chiles, but you should hear the stories my sister can tell about working at a full-service restaurant!

I guess it is good we have decent immune systems. . .

LOL!

Minstal, I love Mexican food, so I am not EVEN clicking on your link because I'm afraid

of what I might read.

Just call me "BIC"
(Blissfully Ignorant Chimichunga)

And to think I was considering giving up on making my own bread all the time.

Having been a waiter in college...

and seen my fair share of food adulteration for abusive customers, it always astounds me that anyone would be stupid enough to mistreat anyone who is going to handle your food (or your luggage for that matter).
