FRC: Whole Foods has aquired Wild Oats

yet again... plagued by my unwillingness to proof subject lines. Acquired!!!
We have a Wild Oats that is a frequent stop
for lunch from work. It's way too convenient, and the selection is good. Prices are a bit much sometimes, however.
One thing I like about the local Wild Goats (what it's called at work), is that the cashiers are instructed to give anyone who might possibly qualify, the senior discount. My gray hair is worth 10% off on Thursdays, and 5% any other day. In 2 years, I will actually be able to legitimately ask for it! smileys/smile.gif

I hope they don't change their standards. Wild Oats is/was my best source for bulk goods........
(i.e. the ultra-fresh dried chick-peas I just made into falalel for dinner.) I can see Whole Foods deciding that the bulk program is unnecessary. Wild Oats' organic beef is legendary: I hope Whole Foods knows that.
