Thanks, Sandy! I drove by this place on my way to the library and wondered if it was any good.

It's such an adventure moving to a new place and discovering the local restaurants. Mattison's Riverside is now at the top of the list.

We went to Lavanda in Towles Court downtown Sarasota and it was wonderful. It's in a little courtyard with several art galleries.

Oooh-ooh! Cafe on the Bay in Longboat Key for Sunday brunch! It was

one of the best brunches I've ever had - check our their brunch menu. The restaurant is overlooking the marina but it's open to the public. Go early as there's a long wait but it's worth it!

Another great place to go and eat is St. Armand's Circle in Lido Key. Great outdoor cafes right at the circle. I can't remember which one I had lunch at but I loved the grouper - mouth watering! See Image link.
