"french cooks knife" from Megaware "The Swords of Spain Collection"

I picked up two of these knives at an estate sale. The brand sounded like something from an infomercial but the knives felt nice. I estimate them to be 40+ years old. They say "hand-forged stainless" I normally am on the lookout for old, high carbon knives (the ones that rust) because I like the edge I get but I grabbed these stainless anyway.

I am wondering if anyone knows anything about them? I can't find anything online. Megaware was a company with at 5th avenue address in NYC but they are long gone.

I love using these knives and now I am intrigued to find out the history.

Those are great looking knives and look a lot like Henckels, etc. You will

enjoy them!
I think the French "cook" denotation really meant "chef". ;o)
