"When professional cakes go horribly, hilariously wrong." (see link)

These cakes/comments made me laugh out loud - had to share.

On the Antiques Road Show cake...the "surfer dude" is *exactly* the same as a freind and I found while at a 2nd hand store! Given she was single, he was a must have. We named him boyfriend Steve and he now lives on the tiny protuding ledge above her microwave guarding the kitchen but has been known to roam about the house showing up we know not where!

Our daughter spent 6 months in China and brought home some of those candles you see on the second

to last cake. At first appearance there is a plastic flower with candles around it. When the candles are lit the heat causes the flower to open and Happy Birthday to play. The main flame erupts at the end.

Alas Sarah only brought home 3 and we saved them for very special birthdays. What a hoot! Our birthday cakes, however, didn't look like the one in the picture.

I picture the carrot riding babies all screaming "YEEEEE-HA!"

and I was askeered!

(This site made me stay up late to read the whole thing and I laughed till I cried.)

It's a good thing we have several pregnant coworkers here because I'm having a hard time deciding

which one of those to bake for them. Think the push cake takes the 'cake' for being the tackiest thing I've ever seen. But the plaid cake has to be the most pitiful one I've ever seen.

Which cake, Sylvia?? The last one is Chuck Norris, the next 2 from bottom are "inspiration and

perspiration", then the 4th one up is a baby with 'Michelle' across it.... I don't see any with candles and plastic flowers...
