Friends, our dear Misplaced_in_AZ is in the hospital...

Her name is Harriet and her son just called me with serious news. Harriet has been getting treatment for lung cancer and now a tumor has been found in her brain. They are reviewing options on how to treat it.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. If you would like to send a card, PM me and I'll provide her address. For privacy sake, I'd prefer not to put it in this searchable venue.

Harriet loves this site and the respect and kindness shown here. Her son is quite touched by the friendships his mother has made across the Internet. I couldn't agree more.

I'm logging off for now. I've got HobNobs to make for her. I'll check in later.

Just spoke with dear Harriet....

Her son Steve called my house yesterday and left a message, which my husband relayed to me. I'm house/dog-sitting at my daughter's this week while they're in Jamaica.

Harriet is such a dear friend! Her outlook is good and she was true to form! Those of you who know dear Harriet know of what I am speaking! smileys/smile.gif

Please continue to keep her uplifted in prayer and good wishes. She's a wonderful person! Loved very much by so many.
