Fun and rather horrifying, the junk food cookbook (virtual)

where they take popular junk foods and combine them to make something that approximates real food.

My favorite - Tom Khaa Ramen:

Instant Shrimp Ramen

Hot water

1 Mounds bar

5 Ketchup Packets

Prepare ramen as per package directions. Meanwhile, peel off outer chocolate layer of Mounds bar(s) and reserve chocolate for use in mocha nougat recipe.

Keep one coconut filling to the side. Combine remaining coconut filling with 1tsp ketchup. Add 1 spoon hot water and stir until well combined. Add mixture to ramen when ready. Stir in remaining 4tsp/packets of ketchup. Roll remaining coconut filling into a ball. Place on top of soup for decoration. Eat.

Ohhhhhh myyyyy.....

Reminds me of a story that Sandra told today. (I had a great time meeting up with elaine and

Sandra!) We were talking about Chopped on Foodnetwork. Sandra was mentioning a recent episode where they had to use gummy bears (I think), Captain Crunch and cupcakes.... Or something like that. You really would have to creative!

Back to my lunch... : ) It was such fun! Sorry that I could not stay to catch up with erin and madeline. : (
Safe Travels elaine and good luck w/ finding the perfect grater!

I can't wrap my head around the fact that someone actually made that and thought:

This is great. I should post this "recipe" on the internet and share this with the world.

I loved that age, Heather. I used to make potato soup from water, potatoes and chives at that age.

My grandmother said she LOVED it. Poor woman, she was too nice to us kids. And she must have eaten tons of that soup, if she didn't throw it out behind my back. I somehow really hope she did smileys/smile.gif
