Fun dilemma, I went to a friend's birthday party Saturday and a friend make the cake, chocolate with

raspberry fudge filling. She gave me a 3 cup tub of the fudge filling, wow!

Sooo, now what to do. I am resisting the temptation of just eating it with a spoon.

What are your thoughts? I was wondering if I could whip it into a frosting and put it on brownies? She was originally making fudge but it didn't set up firm enough to cut or even roll like a ganache, but it was good as a cake filling. She iced the cake with whipped cream, that was really divine.

Perfect idea to frost brownies. You could make sandwich cookies.

Or how about frosting for cupcakes? Thin it down a little and pour over ice cream. Or....just send it to me - I've got a spoon ready smileys/smile.gif

Thin it out with some cream or Half & Half, heat it, and use it as a hot fudge sauce over ice cream.

Ha! I read the rest of your post just after posting mine (about using it over ice cream!).

Get some "coating chocolate" and make filled candies. Really easy with a

microwave and molds ($1.99) and some fru-fru candy papers.

You could stretch that much out to make a ton of candy gifts.

Okay, I confess I had a spoonful last night. whoa.

I'm going to add some framboise eau de vie and some cream and make a jar of sauce to keep in the fridge (ha!).

Then I'm going to try whipping it and see what happens.....
