of Greek Yogurt. I got the second serving from it on the way home tonight and had chicken souvlaki

along with it. The man (owner?) working there told me he eats takes pitas and grape leaves and dips them in the yogurt. That's his dinner on hot humid nights. I don't have stuffed grape leaves but lunch tomorrow just might be a pita and the leftover yogurt.

Funny you should mention that today. I was there about 5:30 last night too!! Samir's (on E. Genesee St.) was out of Greek yogurt, and so I stopped there on my way home to get some. That place is nice, ever been there?

And I also got the Greek yogurt out of the tub. I noticed that it has 9% milk fat (no wonder it's good). The tub looked new, and I thought to myself, "Hmm, I am only the 2nd or 3rd person to have dipped into it!" And the little man waited on me too. I also got grape leaves... funny.

Really, I wonder if that was you in the store at the same time I was!

Bubba's (next to them, in the same building as the Farmer's Market Restaurant which has been there for decades) is a fun place too. Lots of international foods.

put out a line of mimi's swap t-shirts so we can recognize each other.

 
I like Samir's olives, they have the best price,but have you tried their

falafal mix? It's in the bulk food jars by the register. Have you ever been to Thanos groceries?
They have both hot and a sweet olives that are good
but their wine salami is the best.

 
Just tasted the Greek Yogurt. Eww, this batch is so tart! I don't know what...

the brand is, but Wegman's carries a much smoother brand (Fage Total, 4?%), lower fat (Med guy's was 9%!), and lb for lb, it's the same price. My favorite is from Samir's (brand?) but they are out of it a lot.

Any recommendations on a brand? Or where else to buy it locally (near Syracuse)? It's hard to find here.
