FYI. Warning on Hydroxycut Products from the FDA...

I'm afraid of all those products. Before ephedra was banned I ended up in th er with a heart rate of

160. Never again.

I am really surprised....

... that anyone would fall for this type of product. anything that promises to make one lose weight without changing food intake and exercise is either uneffective or dangerous. Usually both.

OMG Cyn!! What astounds me is that these type of manufacturers hype "natural" ingredients

to the public in such an unabashed way. By what of course, our medicines come from natural plants and such.

I'm throwing the whole lot out tomorrow (and it's about $100 worth).

I can definitely understand that (more)

... would you actually take those pills?

I have a sister who is obese and have followed my whole life her struggle with weight, a subject that is hard to tackle in a family, particularly when the person in question has a very strong personality and is not easy to talk to. But, even though she would probably love to have an easy way out, I know she would never take pills that promise the impossible.

And you know what makes me really mad? When I see this type of ads in magazines like Women' s Health, or fitness magazines, Runner's World, Cooking Light - why would they accept money from this type of company? I know money talks, but I just wish there was some decency on the part of the editors.
