and did not read the recipe correctly...what a nut...I added all the cream and it is now rather soft....it is for tonight so I have put it in the freezer....It tastes devine anyway.

Now I had to tweak it unfortunately. Everything was set up to go, all mixed and measured and I opend the lady finger (boudoir biscuits) and they were soggy and FULL of weavils. I live to far from the shops so had to do a quick improvise...

I had some tiny macaroon type biscuits and some chopped walnuts...so I used those instead.

AND then I went and mixed all the cream in. DARN!....

And ideas on whether this will be a disaster (it does taste wonderful) and I should make something else.

 
I think it would be a delicious Mexican chocolate trifle-like pudding. All the ingredients are so

good that I would serve it in a bowl if it can't be sliced.
