(also called Copia's Best Darn Chocolate Chip Cookie Contest Winner - and for a reason!) and they are wonderful!

These will disappear fast!

My local store doesn't have chocolate chips so I bought a bar or dark chocolate and chopped it up and it worked fine.

I tried to "underbake" them slightly (I posted in a post above about having a problem with overbaking chocolate chip cookies so they become dry) and I think I got them just right this time.

The recipe says that they can be stored for up till three days but I'll be surprised if they last the day! smileys/smile.gif

 
GayR, that is totally true. It's four days later and I'm making my third batch of these! smileys/bigsmile.gif

Boyfriend says these cookies are the best he ever had! He has required some to bring when he and his buddies go fishing tomorrow.

I think this recipe will be used a lot in our house! Thanks again for sharing!

 
May I have the recipe, please?

The cookies sound wonderful but I was unable to locate the original post with the recipe. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks to all.
